Mel Bay Modern Guitar Method Complete Edition and More

I was enjoying William Leavitt’s Modern Method for Guitar (1966) so much that I started to become interested in checking out more old-style guitar methods.

I picked up both volumes of Mel Bay’s Modern Guitar Method Complete Edition, originally published in 1948 and containing all 7 books in the original series.

I also found some used copies of Zen Guitar by Philip Toshio Sudo and The Art of Practicing by Madeline Bruser. The yellow book under the other books is a volume of William Bay’s Achieving Guitar Artistry.

Unfortunately, I’ve injured my hands again, and I’m taking a break from practicing, but I will post more about these books when I’m able to play again.
